Looking forward to a great week to finish out the year. Full of Christmas Joy and Celebrations, I have provided a summary below to help keep the days straight. We will finish out our unit on Fractions Mon-Wed with some Christmas Activities. Thursday and Friday are both half days so please plan accordingly. Thursday is the 5th grade music program at 10:30am and you are welcome to check your student out at its conclusion. Friday is also an early release day and our class Christmas Party will be held from 9-10am in the gym, students are able to be checked out after 9:30am.
We have planned a Hot Cocoa Bar & Donuts as well as some games for our party on Friday. A sign up has been posted to REMIND for volunteers to help with games, all necessary materials will be provided and I will be there for set up to help get things going. We are also looking for some prizes (small toys/candy/gift cards/etc.) to be donated that we can use with the games send them by Tuesday, please. We are NOT doing a “penny Christmas” instead we are asking for $2 per student to help cover the cost of the food and drinks and materials for the games.
